And now that you've seen a couple more reviews videos, it's time for another tutorial using some of the better products that I featured from Lise Watier and Revlon! Do let me know if there are any other products from any of the brands that I have reviewed, or that I have mentioned in the past, which you would like to see demonstrated in a tutorial, and I'll try to work that in for you!
As always, click here to watch in HD, or there's the player embedded below:
And now back to our regularly scheduled programming... but a day late... Anyways! Here's my review of the Revlon products I received from the LDBeauty event. I think all of these are out now, so make sure to let me know what you thought of any of these products that you've tried out yourself!
Anyways, click here to watch in lovely high-quality video, or feel free to watch below if you dislike crisp, sharp lines!
Hello again! I hope you aren't sick of giveaways yet, because I have another one for you today. But before I get to that, I wanted to apologise for the lack of videos, my next one should be up Tuesday morning, and then I'll get back on schedule!
For now though, I wanted to share Nail Polish Canada's awesome current giveaway, which I was invited to take part in. Tons of bloggers have been invited to add a polish from the brands NPC sells to the giant giveaway, and so far the prize is up to 148 different polishes, and could get as large as 200! All of which will be awarded to one winner!
The polish I nominated was the gorgeous Essie Penny Talk that I had applied for the manicure I got for my best friend's wedding. It is a soft copper or rose gold type metallic shade, which is completely opaque in 2 coats, and I'm so in love! Here's a look at my mani:
The colour isn't perfect in that picture, so to see some more accurate shots, click here to see more swatches and info. You can also go here to check out all the other polishes, and for another entry form! Feel free to enter on as many blogs as you follow that are part fo the giveaway.
If you're interested (and who wouldn't be?), you can enter using the form below. (Sorry, contest is only for Canadians and Americans, 18 and older!)
I was recently accepted to a campaign on BrandBacker to test out and review a new makeup collection for you guys. That makeup collection is by One Direction and Markwins, and will be available in both Canada and the US. The collection will be on sale starting August 11th at Macy’s in the US, and releasing to Stage Stores, Dillards, Beauty Brands, and Lord and Taylor stores August 25th. International release dates have not yet been set.
I haven’t yet had a chance to test out these products, as I’m still waiting for my samples, but I wanted to share a chance for one of you to maybe win one of the sets in this collection! But first, here’s a quick look at the sets that will be part of this line:
Up All Night set
Midnight Memories set
Take Me Home set
Each set comes in a cool collector's tin, and comes with a lipgloss (that glows a cool neon colour under UV lights), a 5-colour eyeshadow palette, lipstick, mascara, nail polish, an eye and body crayon, and a stencil set. Plus, all the colour names are One Direction song titles, which I think is pretty cool, and would probably be even cooler to a bigger fan of One Direction than myself =P! It also looks like there is a little diagram inside with suggestions on how to create eye looks with the colours in each set.
Personally, I'm hoping they send me either Midnight Memories or Up All Night, though they all look pretty nice! If you want more pictures or information, you can check out their facebook page by going to: facebook.com/MakeupbyOneDirection.
Unfortunately for the rest of you, this giveaway is only open to my Canadian and US readers. If you’d like a chance to win one of these sets, all you need to do is fill in this form:
And back to reviewing! Today's video is my Lise Watier brand review, and this time, it seems that none of the products are even out yet, so I've got some actual new stuff for your to look at, which I think is pretty cool if I do say so myself!
Sorry about not having prices available for the products this time, if I can find them later on, I'll make sure to come back and post them in the video's description.
To break up the line of reviews I've been posting and will continue posting starting on Monday, here is a review of the products from my latest JustFab order!
Here is the tutorial for the makeup I've been wearing in my last three videos, as well as a look at how some of those recently reviewed products actually work.
As promised, here is the first of my review videos of the products I collected from the LDBeauty event a couple weeks ago! My first review is on NYX, as the title suggests. You can watch in the player below, or click here to watch in HD on YouTube.
