Hi guys! Here's a quick video just about my usual base routine. Sometimes I'll switch out my foundation or bronzer/contour, but otherwise, what I do is pretty much the same whenever I wear makeup. Just putting this video out so I can put more focus on my other makeup in some of my tutorials. =)
Also, let me know if you miss my intro, or if you like it better without. Or, if you noticed. =P

This review has taken me a long time to get around to writing. I'm not even sure why, but I kept putting it off. However, because of this, I've had a long time testing out this moisturizer, so I feel pretty confident sharing my thoughts with you!
Before I get into it, I do want to let you know that I was sent this product to test and review, but all opinions shared in this post are completely my own.
So, the Vichy Aqualia THermal Extrasensitive moisturizer—aside from having a mouthful of a name—is sold as being soothing, ultra-calming, long-lasting hydration for sensitive and very dry skin. If you've been around here a while, you may recall I do not have very dry skin. Generally, I'd say my skin is combination, as I do get oily in some areas. That said, I have had some pretty dry patches over the past couple months, so I guess this isn't completely wrong for my skin. Either way, I've been loving it!
This moisturizer is packed with Vitamin B3, which is meant to be soothing, as well as Vichy Thermal Spa Water, which they claim is "recognized for it's fortifying and calming properties." That sounds like a weird claim, and I've never heard of it, but that doesn't inherently mean they're wrong... They claim lots of tests have been done proving the efficacy of this moisturizer.
So yeah, they sell it hard... which of course meant that I went into trying out this product realllly skeptically... I didn't expect it to be anything really special! And to be honest, I'm not sure it is super special. Maybe I don't have enough redness or dry enough skin to really reap all the potential benefits of this products. But I did like it, as I said.
I found it was very comfortable on the skin. I didn't find it too heavy or too light. I think it's a good winter moisturizer, though I don't think my summer skin will be able to handle something like this. That said, it is non-greasy, and feels somewhat cooling on the skin, but not in a minty-tingly way. So don't worry about that. I don't think a product for sensitive skin would ever add a minty tingle...
If you do have a sensitivity to scent, I should let you know this does have a light, fresh scent. It's not really perfume-y, but there is a definitely scent to it. It doesn't bother me at all, and some scented products certainly do. I actually find it really nice and comforting, myself.
Also, this product is preservative-free, paraben-free, alcohol-free, and colourant-free. So like all that bad stuff isn't in here. Which is good. Also, they say on the bottle that the light fragrance is is "Allergy-tested," thought I'm not entirely sure what that is supposed to promise.
The bottle is meant to be air-tight to preserve purity and minimize contamination. Also, this information was not on the bottle, but was included in the information that was emailed to me by the PR company, but the moisturizer also contains hyaluronic acid (which is great for helping to moisturize skin), and shea butter, which everyone knows is great for hydration!
So yeah, I think those are all my thoughts about this product. I hope that you found this post helpful in some way.

I had a huge headache and decided to do something "simple"... it actually ended up being pretty much about as much work as I usually do, but the colours are soft, pretty, and really wearable for most people! It's also make a nice prom makeup, or Valentine's day look!
Enjoy!

I really love how this eye look turned out, so I hope you like it too! Not sure that I really am describing it well, but hopefully the look can speak for itself in the title card and video =)
And I know that the Vice3 palette is no longer available, but I figured that this would still be good for anyone who bought the palette while it was out, and besides that, I'm sure the two main colours could be easily duped using shadows from any number of other brands!

Today's video is inspired by Hank Green (vlogbrothers) and Charlie McDonnell (charlieissocoollike), two of my favourite Youtubers.
Hank filmed 15 of his favourite feelings, Charlie only got to 12 (which makes me feel better about stopping at 10), and I wanted to share my own with you guys, because these videos kinda just made me happy. Because good feelings can do that.
Enjoy, and feel free to share some of your favourite feelings in the comments, a blog post, or a video, and send me a link if you have done this little challenge as well! =)

Yeah, this video is going up a little late, maybe, but I really loved the look I wore on NYE this year, and I wanted to share it with you anyways! I think this would also be a great look for date nights, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, parties... or everyday, because you should do what you want! =P

Hey there, I'm getting this up a little later than most people who are going to be doing them this year, but I mostly do these posts for myself in the future so I can remember past gifts. Hopefully you also take some amusement from looking at other people's presents!
Anyways, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years, as well as anything else you might celebrate around this time! I'm going to divide up my presents from family and from friends. I'm not going to go through everything I got from my family either, as we tend to get tons of little gifts to go with the nicest ones, so I'll mention most of the best things. Let's start there:
From my family:
From David:
From David this year I got the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette, as you can see above. I've done lots of tutorials and grwm videos using it already, as well as a review, which you can check out. The easiest way to find them all in one spot is probably to search Gwen Stefani in the search box on the sidebar!
David also paid for Shadow of Mordor when it was on for $17 or whatever in the Steam Sale, so that's counting as a Christmas present too, I think =P
From Brit & Sean, and Jeff:
Above are my presents from my friends this year. The Sephora giftcard—for $50— is from Jeff. I haven't quite decided what to use it for yet, so I still have it so far, but I shall. And then the mini Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Fig and the mini Love Flush blush was from Brit along with the little tin containing DavidsTea's Gingerbread tea!
And that's basically everything, I think. I got so many awesome presents this year, I feel super lucky! =P Let me know what you got for Christmas, or share the link if you did a post or video like this, so I can check it out!
